DS Nokonoko Beach

Nokonoko Beach (also known as Split-Up Beach) is an unused beta track (nokonoko_course) found in the ROM of Mario Kart DS. It is very likely that this was going to be the sequel to N64 Koopa Troopa Beach from Mario Kart 64, due to the word "nokonoko" being the romanization of the Japanese name for "Koopa Troopa". The track was present, but unplayable without codes, in the kiosk demo; in the final version of the game, it no longer loads with textures. Despite what it would have been named in the final version of Mario Kart DS, it has kept the name given to it by fans: "Nokonoko Beach".
