Overview

Tall Trunk's Big Slide is the second mission of Tall Trunk Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2.[1] This is an enhanced port created by Scutlet. It was initally created for Mario Kart 8, but was later ported to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe by Samlegamer_. In the original level, the player slides down the slide at quick speed through several tunnels while avoiding spikes, pits, Spinies, and Wigglers. This track adapts some of the layout to make it a driveable track, but also showcases the limits of Mario Kart 8's anti-gravity in the tunnel sections, as evidenced by somewhat shaky camera and gravity not always going in the right direction (as only a single gravity path can be active at the same time). The track model was edited to include ramps and more scenery. It also features two custom objects: Whittle and Blimp Yoshi.
