AAMP Compressed files.
BAGLCUBE Unknown. AAMP compressed file. Might be related to BAGLMF, BAGLENV, BAGLCCR, BAGLLMAP, BGSDW.
BARS Sound files archive.
BFBNK Sound bank found into BFSAR files.
BFFNT Font files used to display text.
BFGRP Sound bank/wave group found into BFSAR files.
BFLAN Layout animation.
BFLIM Layout image.
BFLYT Layout.
BFRES Object files, containing model, animation, and texture information of an object, such as an item, a character or a course.
BFSAR Sound archive file containing banks, sequences and sound effects.
BFSEQ MIDI-like sequence files found into BFSAR.
BFSHA Shader files.
BFSTM Music files.
BFWAR Sound wave archive found into BFSAR.
BFWSD Sound wave files found into BFSAR.
BGENV Post-effect information.
BGLPBD Probably baked textures related data.
BIN Binary lookup tables, mostly consisting of integer arrays and/or strings.
BSIS Audio database.
BYAML A generic data container format, like a binary version of XML.
CPSD Probably Mii related data.
DAT Unknown. FFRA compressed file. Also used in Miitomo in AFLResHigh.dat.
EXBIN Unknown.
FMDL Model data and usually a sub file of BFRES archives.
FTEX Texture files and usually a sub file of BFRES archives.
GTX/GSH Texture/shader file.
KCL Collision information files.
MSBT Message files containing localized text for use in game screens and menus.
PTCL Graphic particle file.
SARC File archive with a hierarchical file system. Most used together with Yaz0 compression and stored as SZS file. Otherwise often seen with the BARS extension.
