Rename Index Groups to Dictionaries

Would anyone object? They are basically dumped dictionaries. I originally used these terms in my binary templates and it worked out quite well. I don't think "Index Group" is clear in what it's used for; by now (or since some time) we know they're used for fast, named lookups. - Ray Koopa (talk) 09:19, 27 May 2017 (UTC)

I disagree, because they have been known as "Index Group" in the past, both in BFRES and BRRES. Renaming them would just be confusing for a lot of people. And there isn't any problem with the name "Index Group".

I see, I've never worked with BRRES, so I wasn't aware of that background. My personal feel always was that "Index Group" seems to be missing the point somehow, since it's not about indices grouped together, but textual keys to look up data _rather_ than indices :D - Ray Koopa (talk) 10:29, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
