AAMP Compressed files.
BARS Sound files archive.
BAGLCUBE Unknown. AAMP compressed file. Might be related to BAGLMF, BAGLENV, BAGLCCR, BAGLLMAP, BGSDW.
BFFNT Font files used to display text.
BFLAN Layout animation.
BFLIM Layout images.
BFLYT Layout
BFRES Object files, containing model, animation, and texture information on an object, such as an itembox, a character or a course.
BFSAR Sound archive file for small sound effects.
BFSHA Shader files.
BFSTM Music files used by Mario Kart 8.
BFWAR Small sound effects.
BGENV Posteffect information.
BGLPBD Probably Baked Textures related data.
BIN Binary lookup tables, mostly consisting of integer arrays and / or strings.
BSIS audio database
BYAML A generic data container format, like a binary version of XML.
CPSD Probably Mii related data.
DAT Unknown. FFRA compressed file.
EXBIN Unknown.
FMDL Model data and usually a sub file of BFRES archives.
